Here's the Story
That's me! I'm glad I had a cute shirt on that day. One thing I've learned from this job is that you NEVER know when someone with a camara will show up at the library. I've been caught unprepared before. Ofcourse, I'd never put those clips on here. Here are some good ones from the past year.
Summer 2008
June 2008
January 2008
This was actually a really fun time. I didn't even know they were there until they came up at the end and asked how to spell my name.
For those of you who missed last week's story time, here are the stories and songs we sang.
And Then What Happened?
Books:
That’s Good! That’s Bad! By Margery Cuyler and David Catrow
Previously by Allan Ahlberg and Bruce Ingman
Yes, Please, No Thank you! byValerie Wheeler and Glin Didley
The End by David LaLochelle and Richard Egielski
Story Rhymes:
3 Blind Mice
Three blind mice,Three blind mice,
See how they run!See how they run!
They all ran after the farmer's wife,Who cut off their tails,With a carving knife.
Did you ever see such a thing in your life,As three blind mice.
Humptey Dumptey
Humptey Dumptey sat on a wall,
Humptey Dumptey had a great fall;
All the King's horses and all the King's men,
Couldn't put Humptey together again.
Jack and Jill
Jack and Jill went up the hill,
To fetch a pail of water.
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.
Up Jack got and home he ran,
As fast as he could caper.
There his mother bound his head,
With vinegar and brown paper.
Fishing
One, two, three, four, five,
Once I caught a fish alive,
Six, seven, eight, nine, ten,
Then I let go again.
Why did you let it go?
Because it bit my finger so.
Which finger did it bite?
This little finger on the right.
