Do you remember that game we used to play? The one where you can link any actor back to Kevin Bacon by less than 7 other people. Well, I do. I remember it well. I remember thinking about how connected everyone in the world really is, and how easy it is to find out that you know someone who knows someone who dated some one's brother.
Well, I'm going on my 5Th year in Idaho Falls and today it dawned on me . . . I'm the Kevin Bacon of Idaho Falls!!!! And I don't think that is funny or admirable, just in case you thought I was bragging.
This week two people asked me for someone else's phone number (one I had to ask someone else for), one person asked me if I knew a random guy (and someone else tried to set me up on a blind date with a guy I'd already been out with), and a few people said, "Yah, I know you. You're Sarah." Eric made his "do you know . . ." t-shirts in college as a joke, but I was thinking, it would be pretty scary if I made "do you know Sarah" t-shirts and spread them around Idaho Falls. I'm afraid that everyone would say yes and be able to track our relationship back through less than seven people.
