Minneapolis: the good parts version

You know when you go on a trip and you get home and you tell all your coworkers one story and all your friends the good parts version? Well here it is: Minneapolis: the good parts version!

It was sunny all week, I promise, until the day Josh and I woke up and looked outside to find a foot of perfect snowman snow! We rolled and rolled and turned it on it's side because the balls were too heavy to stack. So, this is Our (Josh's and my) sun bathing snowman.

Rebecca had a book of good things she had collected over the years. This was one of the pictures in her book. I love it. It totally reminds me of me, especially after this conference. Just kidding!

This is not the hotel we stayed in. No, this is the hotel out of the 6th floor lobby window. Another good part that I didn't get a picture of was the goat. Not a live goat though. No! Not at all. My friend and I went to an African restaurant and ate roasted rack of goat. An experience for sure. I only have to have that one once.

Speaking of food. This is a great new game I got from my conference. Toast (which I learned in Minnesota you say "toost") is very big in Early Literacy right now. If you'd like to know why, go to your local library and ask for Kate DiCamillo's Mercy Watson books.

And last of all, but definitely not least
I didn't make it out of Minneapolis without a nifty and shockingly insensible pair of shoes.
Very "Lipstick Librarian"

Here is a pic with them on!

Ooh, I am coveting those shoes! You should wear them to work every day, snow or not.

Nice shoes! They are totally you. I don't know if I could get away with them, but then I'm not a librarian. Good find!

hahah I repeat: you really will wear anything. You're going to LOVE the spoils from Taiwan. Maybe not as much as I love you and you love me though!
