It had never accured to me that there might be counting books for older kids. There are tons of fraction books, like Jon Scieszka's Math Curse meant to teach and entertain older children. But here are two funny counting (or maybe more like Adding) books for that middle age.

One is a Snail, Ten is a Crab
By April Pullay Sayre and Jeff Sayre
Illustrated by Randy Cecil

This book, as noted on the cover, is a "counting by feet" book.

Quack and Count
by Keith Baker

How many ways can you count to 7?

Do you have a favorite counting book? Please share it with me.
